### **What is XNAT?**
**XNAT (Extensible Neuroimaging Archive Toolkit)** is an open-source imaging informatics platform used by research institutions around the world. It provides a secure, web-based system to:

* **Store and Organize:** Securely archive complex imaging datasets (DICOM, NIfTI, etc.) and associated metadata.
* **Collaborate:** Share data across teams and institutions with granular permission controls.
* **Process:** Automate quality control and analysis pipelines directly within the platform.

###  **Login Instructions**
Access to this site is integrated with your **DDIM Portal** registration. To log in, please follow these guidelines:

* **Username:** Your username is the first part of the email address you registered in the [DDIM Portal](https://ddim.era4tb.arcos.inf.uc3m.es), specifically, everything before the "@" symbol and domain.
    > **Example:** If your registered email is `j.smith@example.com`, your XNAT username is **j.smith**.
* **Password:** Use the password associated with your **DDIM Portal** account.
* **First-time users:** after login, the system will ask you to create and link a new XNAT account. Once registered, you can use your username regularly.
* If you have trouble accessing your account or if your email part does not seem to grant you access, please contact the site administrator at **era4tb@uc3m.es**.
